READING ARTICLE

It is strange that , according to his position in life, an extravagant man is admired or despised. A successful businessman does nothing to increase his popularity by being careful with his money. he is expected to display his success to have a smart car and expensive life and to be lavish with his hospitality. If he is not so,he is considered mean and his reputation in business may even suffer in consequence. the paradox remains that if he had not been careful with his money in the first place, he would never have achieved his present wealth.

Among the low income group, a different set of values exist. The young clerk, who makes his wife of Present of a new dress when he hasn't paid his house rent is condemned as extravagant. Carefulness with money to the point of meanness is applauded as a virtue. Nothing in his life is considered more worthy than paying his bills. The ideal wife for such a man separates her house keeping money into joyless little piles so much for rent, for food for the children's shoes she is able to face the milkman with equanimity every month satisfied with her economic using ways and never knows that gives of buying something she can't really afford. As for myself, I fall into neither of these categories.if I have money to spare, I can be extravagant, but when, as is usually the case, I am hard up, then I am the meanest man imaginable.

Child - Rs 200

Dad - If I make it a lot of small nails, then what will it cost?

Papa - If I make lots of clocks of this clock with this iron?

The child kept counting for a while and then immediately got excited and said, "Then its price will be very high."

Reading story for learn English

The name of the story is Attila the little mercenary

Anatole the lamb had trouble writing neatly. His pencil was never sharpened and his notebook had stains all over. The little lamp really didn't like to work.

one day his teacher went up to him and said come on Anatole! work harder! Look at bertille's notebook. It is so neat."
Anatole shot bertille a nasty look as he said, "yes , teacher...."

That morning when he joined his friends alphonse and zigomar during the break they told him let's get a mysterious kid to come to class!
whatdo you mean? Asked Anatole.
An unruly kid. A terrible student who will trouble the teacher all the time. Serves her right!
On his way back home that day, Anatole passed by the house of attila the wolf cub. in exchange for several boxes of sweets, attila agreed to come by and cause a commotion in anatole's  class.
The next morning attila was in class. And he was such a troublemaker! He threw paper palace at everyone, teased everyone and was really very rude to the teacher. Encouraged by this, Anatola, alphonse and zigomar also began acting up. They were as badly behaved as three wolf cubs!
The three little lambs didn't realise it, but as the day went by and their teacher grew more and more disappointed, they began changing. Their  woolly coats became short and stiff, their snouts , andg longer, and so did their teeth.
when anatole went home that evening, his mother opened the door and shrieked who are you?
Mum it's me your son anatole replied.
That's is not possible. My son is a lamb and you...
You are a wolf!
just then, anatole caught a glimpse of himself in a nearby puddle. He nearly fell over in fright. His mother was right, he had turned into a little wolf.
feeling very sorry for himself, anatole went back to school where he met his friends alphonse  and zigomar.
Both of them were as sad as he was because they too had turned into little wolves. Nobody could recognise them anymore!
they all raced to the teacher to apologize to her. As they did so, they turn back into the gentle lambs they would been before.
the teacher patted them on their heads and hug them. Miss, would you help me sharpen my pencil please? Asked Anatole.
I want to do my homework neatly.
       The teacher couldn't stop smiling.

Thankyou
